Add InDesign Document to Chapter on the Server

  1. Open InDesign and create a layout for your project. You must include at least one text frame with some text in it.
  2. Click on the CtrlPrint menu and click: "Add Document". If you can’t see this menu, please check that your plug-ins and Transfer Manager are up-to-date. See more information here.

  3. A window will pop up for you to input the server URL address (secure.ctrlprint.net) and also for you to log in.

NOTE: this is your user password for the system and not your Administrator's password.

  1. After clicking "Log in", select the company, project and chapter you want to upload your InDesign document to and click: "Add Document".

NOTE: if you are unable to add the document please check if you have:
  1. After clicking "Add Document" the document will be uploaded to the server and available for other users to access.

NOTE: To begin using Tagger and TrackChanges, a second version of the chapter needs to be created.
