Using Layers

Layer tagging can be used when something needs to be tagged multiple times. A common situation would be when a Mandatory text tag would be when the tags ifrs-full:DomicileOfEntity and ifrs-full:CountryOfIncorporation are the same.

If you select the same information twice it will be indicated by a red strike-through when highlighting the text or table.

  1. To tag the same text or table twice, a new Layer must be created.

The Window below will open. Click "Add", give the new Layer a suitable name and then click "Apply" to add the layer.

If you add more than one layer, you can set their order with the up and down arrows on the right hand side of the window. Note that the number of Layers is now limited to 10, so it is not recommended to use one layer per tag.

  2. In the Preview mode, you can select the Layer you are working in with the drop down menu below.
